New Group Scout Leader 1st January 2010
Martin Funnell has taken over as the Group Scout Leader. Martin has already been with the Group for nearly three years as ASL and chairman of the fund-raising committee. We wish him all the best in his new role. Martin has his wife as the Beaver leader and has two children in sections within the Group making it truly a family affair.

Group Scout Leader moves on - 31st December 2009
The Group Scout Leader for over three years, Andy Rowe has stepped down to take up the post of District Commissioner for Arundel & Littlehampton.

Littlehampton Bonfire Parade - 31st October 2009
The weather held out, the people came in the thousands and the parade included both the 4th Littlehampton Scout Group and the District Band. Both of these were chosen as beneficiaries of the collection this year.

The 4th Littlehampton Scout Group entered a float of a Scary Scout Camp. Including a castle and graveyard, largely decorated by the young people themselves. As the float turned the corner along the seafront there was a jubilant Martin Funnell running to catch up hold TWO 1st place tickets in his hands.

Well done to all involved in the hard work and prepartion and the two weeks work by the Beavers, Cub and Scouts in painting, drawing, cutting and carving. (Pictures to follow very shortly)
